Bell & Ross BR 03 94 Rafale Watch Review

The launch of the Limited Edition Bell & Ross BR 03 94 Rafale marks their second collaboration with Dassault Aviation.

Dassault Aviation’s CEO Eric Trappier shares his thoughts on the partnership in an exclusive interview with Bell & Ross. Explaining that the alliance began with the launch of the Falcon masterpiece, which similarly was inspired by an aircraft the success has established a strong link between the brands that continues to grow. In his opinion, the two worlds of watchmaking and aviation collide naturally with a focus on quality, expertise and appearance. The initial collaboration was a natural progression with both parties recognised as a fine brand in their field.

The second collaboration found comfort in entering the military world to produce the Rafale; making a parallel with the Rafale Fighter Craft.  He explains that the Limited Edition timepiece is modelled on the aircraft and truly represents it via various features. The watch is a precious tool for the pilot and is required to be easy to read. Therefore, the Bell & Ross BR 03 94 is designed with simplicity for high legibility in a pressured situation. The dial design is similar to the instruments found in the fighter plane, which is formed to be very precise for enhanced readability. The Rafale adopts these important traits effortlessly both in the functionality and aesthetic.

Eric Trappier states that the Rafale is internationally recognised for it’s operational qualities and commercial success. The global success is celebrated via the launch of the Limited Edition piece manufactured in 500 pieces. He is extremely proud of the Rafale Fighter Craft and feels that the partnership shares their accomplishment further. Eric assures that the wearer will feel pride securing the exquisite watch to their wrist.
