Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 Watch Review

Jaeger-LeCoultre has revealed a preview of the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931, a watch to be presented at SIHH 2014.

The timepiece is described as the third addition to a "splendid trilogy", joining the Grande Reverso Rouge with a deep red dial from 2012, and the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin Duoface Blue in 2013.

The new Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 is based on the aesthetics of the original Reverso design and "vividly evokes the finest hours of Art Deco", with a chocolate brown dial, 18kt pink gold case and traditional gadroons around the dial.

The hours, apart from the 12 o'clock numeral, are shown by baton-shaped hour markers. A small seconds rectangular subdial is positioned at 6 o'clock. The hour and minute hands are a 'dagger-type' shape.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 comes with a cordovan leather strap, handcrafted in the Casa Fagliano workshops.
