2010 TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster
The luxury Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer has teamed up with the Californian electric car manufacturer Tesla Motors to create the unique 2010 TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster to celebrate TAG-Heuer’s 150th anniversary. This one-off collector’s car has just been launched at the Geneva Motor Show. The car features an interior that was designed by Tesla’s inhouse head designer, Franz von Holzhausen, which incorporates the elements that made TAG Heuer the iconic luxury brand it has become over the last century and a half. A special feature of the car is the center console that cradles the new cutting edge concept watch to be unveiled at the 2010 Baselworld show. The car also includes the TAG Heuer Meridiist mobile phone and a one-fifth second Heuer Limited Edition Stopwatch. This timepiece is fitted with a mechanical movement, and is a tribute to the founding of the company in 1860 as well as TAG-Heuer’s signal to a revival of vintage stopwatches. Read full story
