The U2 is a professional diving watch that can function flawlessly in extremely harsh conditions. One of its most prominent characteristics is the usage of German submarine steel that is protected from high pressure, magnetic fields and seawater penetration. The case is hardened through the use of Sinn's Tegiment technology. A dehumidifying capsule protects the mechanism from fogging. The captive pilot bezel can measure up to 60 minutes. Additional functionalities include a date window at 3 o'clock, second time zone, crown at 4 o'clock, mission timer design, luminous dial elements and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
