This is one of the newest Sinn watches designed for the needs of divers. Its movement is Sinn-made SZ 02 automatic that performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 25 bearing jewels. The casing is made of German submarine steel that is resilient to high pressure, magnetic fields and seawater penetration. The case is hardened through the use of Sinn's Tegiment technology. A dehumidifying capsule keeps the dial from fogging and protects the mechanism. The U1000 diving watch has various functionalities like a captive safety diver's bezel that measures elapsed time, crown on the left side, mission timer design, a date window at 9 o'clock, full chronograph functions, luminous dial elements, solid case back and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
