This Fortis watch is a tribute to Yuri Gagarin. It is a limited edition model and solely 300 such watches are available for purchase. Each Fortis Limited Edition Yuri Gagarin is equipped with Swiss-made ETA 2893-2 automatic calibre that performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 25 bearing jewels. Other movement characteristics include fine timing device and Incabloc shock absorber. Hands, numerals and markers are covered with luminous paint that enhances night time readability. A date display is positioned at the 3 o'clock mark. A 24-hour hand indicates the second time zone. Additional useful features include screwed crown with the Fortis logo, screw-down case back with Yuri Gagarin's portrait, limited edition text print at 9 o'clock and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
