A watch designed for the needs of divers needs to be very easy to use and extremely legible. B-42 Marinemaster Day/Date White by Fortis meets these goals. It is equipped with Swiss-made ETA 2836-2 automatic calibre that performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 26 bearing jewels. Other movement characteristics include an Incabloc shock absorber and fine timing device. Hands, numerals, indices and bezel elements are covered with luminous paint that enhances night time readability. A day and date display is positioned at the 3 o'clock mark. The uni-directional, rotating bezel is available to measure elapsed time. Additional useful features include screw-down case back with a historic Fortis motive, blue afterglow of the luminous elements and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
