Fortis B-42 Flieger Chronograph is a modern interpretation of a rather traditional theme in the world of watch making. The watch is equipped with Swiss-made Valjoux 7750 automatic calibre that performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 25 bearing jewels. Other movement characteristics include Incabloc shock absorber and fine timing device. The calibre features special rotor engravings. Dial elements are covered with luminous paint for increased night time readability. A date display is positioned at the 3 o'clock mark and a day window is available at 9 o'clock. The watch's chronograph comes with a 60-second, a 30-minute and a 12-hour counter. Additional useful features include crown with the Fortis logo, see-through case back, flange with tachymeter scale and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
