The B-42 Flieger Black is a limited edition collection. White dial elements positioned over a dark background ensure perfect legibility. The B-42 Flieger Black Chronograph is equipped with Swiss-made Valjoux 7750 automatic calibre that performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 25 bearing jewels. Other movement characteristics include Incabloc shock absorber and fine timing device. Dial elements are covered with luminous paint that enhances night time readability. A date display is positioned at the 3 o'clock mark and a day display is available at 9 o'clock. The watch's chronograph comes with a 60-second, a 30-minute and a 12-hour register. Additional useful features include steel PVD black brushed case, crown with the Fortis logo, see-through case back, individual numbering, flange with a tachymeter scale and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
