The watch is equipped with Ball's 965 automatic chronograph calibre that is certified by Contrôle Officiel Suisse de Chronométres (COSC) – the official Swiss institute that tests chronometers. The watch is protected from shock and magnetic influences. Hands and indices are illuminated through the use of 19 self-powered micro gas tubes that glow 100 times brighter than luminous paint. The 24-hour world time disc enables the watch to perform its main function. Additional useful features include day and date displays, see-through case back, screwed-in crown and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
