The Bremont ALT1-Z is a watch designed for the needs of aviators and travellers. The Z in its name stands for "Zulu" time – the wearer has a chance to view local time alongside an official world time standard. The watch is equipped with BE-54AE automatic calibre that performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 25 bearing jewels. A 42-hour power reserve is available for the convenience of the wearer. Other characteristics include glucydur balance, Anachron balance spring and Nivaflex 1 mainspring. The movement is certified by Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronométres (COSC) – the Swiss institute that tests chronometers. A date display is positioned at the 3 o'clock mark. The watch's chronograph comes with a 60-second, a 30-minute and a 12-hour counter. A 24-hour Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) hand is available, as well. Other characteristics include luminous dial elements, see-through case back, Bremont Trip-Trick stainless steel case construction, internally rotating bezel and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
