The Supermarine Descent is a limited edition timepiece that was launched due to the success of the Supermarine 500 watch. Solely 407 such items are available. Supermarine Descent is equipped with BE-36AE automatic calibre that performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 25 bearing jewels. A 38-hour power reserve is available for the convenience of the wearer. Other characteristics include glucydur balance, Anachron balance spring and Nivaflex 1 mainspring. The movement is certified by Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronométres (COSC) – the Swiss institute that tests chronometers. A day and date display is positioned at the 3 o'clock mark. The rotating diver's bezel that measures elapsed time is another prominent characteristic. The watch comes with a number of additional functionalities including luminous dial and bezel elements, automatic helium escape valve, crown protector, anti-shock movement mount, screw-in case back and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
