The Engineer Hydrocarbon Spacemaster Orbital is yet another technological innovation by Ball. It comes equipped with Ball's Amortiser anti-shock system that is designed to protect the movement during high impact activities. The movement is ETA 7754, which is based on the 7750 calibre. Hands and dial elements are illuminated through the use of 52 self-powered micro gas tubes that glow 100 times brighter than luminous paint. The watch is protected from shock, magnetic influences and water penetration. It is low-temperature resistant. The bi-directional rotating bezel comes with luminous paint marks. Other functionalities include an illuminated second time zone, a date display at 3 o'clock, accumulated chronograph measurements of 12 hours, sweep seconds, patented crown protection system and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
