Webb C. Ball is well-known for his outstanding pocket watches. The Trainmaster Cannonball timepiece is a tribute to these early designs. The watch is equipped with Ball's 2050 automatic calibre that has 49 bearing jewels. Hands and dial elements are illuminated through the use of 15 self-powered micro gas tubes that glow 100 times brighter than luminous paint. The watch is protected from shock and magnetic influences. Accumulated chronograph measurements reach up to 45 minutes. Additional useful features include a subsidiary seconds sub-dial, a date display at 12 o'clock, see-through case back, screwed-in crown and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
