Hamilton Launches Khaki Conservation Auto Chrono In Association With Harrison Ford
Wednesday - 15 February 2012
Luxury watch brand Hamilton has launched the new Hamilton Khaki Conservation
Auto Chrono watch, with the aim of raising awareness about conservation issues.
The watch was designed in collaboration with actor Harrison Ford, who is
vice chair of the non-profit environmental group Conservation International
(CI).
The watch brand says that the aim of the watch is to encourage people
to ‘take time to reflect on conservation and the need to preserve important
resources’.
A significant proportion of the money made through sales of the watch will go
towards projects by Conservation International, in areas such as climate, fresh
water, food, health, cultural services and biodiversity.
The new Hamilton watch also contains an entirely new movement the H31.
Harrison Ford commented: "The first two collections Hamilton and I created to
support our cause proved extremely successful, so I’m sure that the new watch
will follow in those footsteps. By contributing to Conservation International’s
mission in this way, Hamilton is helping us achieve measurable conservation
outcomes with a far-reaching impact.”
