Mondaine Helvetica Watches Watch Review

Mondaine has launched its first series of Helvetica watches, a brand new collection inspired by the iconic Helvetica font.
For 30 years Mondaine watches have been modelled after the clocks of the Swiss Railway, but the brand announced at Baselworld 2014 that "it is time for a facelift". The new Mondaine Helvetica watches are inspired by the famous font, a favourite among designers.
The 15 watches in the collection have steel cases that are brushed, polished, or plated with PVD in gold or black. There are three strap variations (leather, nylon and mesh), and staying true to the origins of the Helvetica font, the watches are available in three 'weights': Light (26 and 38 mm case diameters), (33 and 40 mm) and Bold (43 mm).
