about Archimede
Archimede is a German watch brand founded in Pforzheim. The industry was started there back in 1767 by Grand Duke Karl Friedrich. By the beginning of the 20th century, Pforzheim established itself as the centre of German watch-making and for the country’s jewellery industry.
In 1924 a man named Karl Ickler started a family business and began manufacturing watches. The Ickler family still manages the company today. Cases are created in-house from stainless steel, titanium or 18-carat gold.
The first Archimede watches by Ickler appeared on the market in 2003.
The Archimede Pilot watch is probably the most successful model. Pilot watches come in various sizes and featuring a multitude of functionalities. The watch guarantees excellent visibility with its solid face and luminous numerals.
Other popular Archimede collections include SportTaucher, Arcadia and Outdoor. These collections feature among the most popular outdoor and sports watches worldwide.
